A delightful spring/summer read.  A bit predictable -- everybody starts unhappy and ends happy.  But the process is delightful anyway.  Particularly pleasing was the theme that people become what you treat them as.  That was the magic of the castle.  If you treat someone as lovely and charming, they will be come lovely and charming.  A nice little theme.

This was on my to-read list, but I actually got a copy of it from First to Read because of the upcoming publication based on it, The Enchanted August.  We shall see...
