Wow. This in an intricate story, and a fantastic story-teller. That's the most accurate thing I can say about it. It's not every book that is still pulling me in by degrees after 200 pages, making me feel like I've only just begun. It's too long, of course. It should have been edited down. But I don't regret a moment I spent reading it. It just plain great story.
