Physics for Rock Stars: Making the Laws of the Universe Work for You

Physics for Rock Stars: Making the Laws of the Universe Work for You - Christine McKinley Well, the chief question I had was whether this book would be helpful for college students taking a science gen ed, and the answer is that it wouldn't. The language in this book appears to be aimed at maybe a 13-year old. The voice is somewhat condescending, and the memoir parts are almost embarrassing to read, they're written so poorly.

The science is okay but not great, with little inaccuracies here and there, but not too bad. But it really has nothing to do with rock stars, which, seriously, it could have. Electronics and then the physics of waves and sound and music. But no. Some fluids and some electricity points are explained well in here, but for gen ed science, I'd advise looking elsewhere.
